yeah yeah yeah i have found some amazing deals on spirit, but fuck them. everything is a pain in the ass. currently been waiting on the plane since 4:15 am (6:21 now) just sitting in cle airport. ig it’s not that big of an issue, i’m just annoyed and bored

southwest ftw when flying for skiing. Ski bag and the boot bag get counted as 1 bag. For free. Plus your two normal free bags. So you can technically fly with 4 bags for free. Plus a carry.

SW is $$$ though.

When we want the low low fares of the ultra low cost carriers we gotta put up with some bullshit sometimes. It is what it is.

I’ve never paid any high fares with south west. Usually it’s $2-300 max round trip. Including all my luggage. Any other airline I’d be $500-600 with bags.

on top of that SW allows you unlimited changes for free. So from the point I book till the point I fly the prices usually drop and I get everything back in credit.

my last Tahoe trip was booked with credits I got back. that’s a huge benefit.
 
Spirit does suck.

One flight I was on got delayed 5 times. I had to spend half the night sleeping on the airport floor in Baltimore thanks to them. Never again.

Sun country also blows.

I've flown Allegiant a few times because there is an airport 10 minutes from my parents place in FL. The seats feel like sitting on a concrete ledge and they will charge insane prices for extra baggage though so you gotta pack light.

I've had good experiences with Delta. They also count ski bag and boot bag as one.

pretty sure the ski + boot bag counts as 1 of your 2 free bags with southwest, but they are still the best airline for anything domestic imo.

It does not. Ski boot and ski bag is considered one bag on it own. Plus you can check in 2 more bags on top.

just did it coming home from Tahoe.

checked in my tube and boot bag, suitcase and a duffle so I didn’t have to carry anything on the way home. On the way over I carried the back pack since my boots were in that.

southwest was fire except for they lost my stuff and i had to go to the airport to get my shit 2 days later

I had a bag lost from ftl to Puerto Rico direct. Showed up a day later but they did deliver it to the hotel
