Also learn your math kids, if for no other reason than it'll make you smarter and less frustrated in school. Physics is math, therefore, everything is math. Debate over, I win. Learn math.
 
Once you get to college and all of the math that you hated and thought was useless becomes applicable, you'll be amazed at how useful and interesting it really is.
 
Ehehm except when you really look at physics sometimes ... ie quantum physics .. We don't know how that shit works "we" are always learning more but there's probably an infinite amount of things to learn.
 
I'm actually studying that now, quantum mechanics. We've got explicit solutions to several models and we can use variational calculus to guess wave functions and energies for ones that can't be solved. So I'd say humans have a got a bit of a handle on it. It's not some crazy unknown anymore, hasn't been for quite a few years.

So kids, learn to solve your quadratic equations, do derivatives and integrate. Cause you can do cool shit with it.
