wow today my burton twin broke. i fell on a jump and looked down when i got on the lift and was like. FUCK, its broken. it's right at the tail, and now my march break is fucked. i think i can still ride it till the end of march break but fuck. this is the second time a burton board of mine has broken. newxt year i am def switching to a new company.

sorry if that was long, but burton boards suck ass bitch whore.

at least the warranties are sick and i can get a new one for free

FUCK

What model was it?

PS... Option is coming out with a sick looking twin for next year.. die cut base, pre-cured topsheet. Sorry, I'm such a pusher >_

dude my friend bought a demoed jones from them at the summer sale and it broke after like 4 times riding it so they gave him a brand new one (a year newer also) but he got a free dominant (shitttttty beat dead) so he rode that til conditions were good....his first day out with the new jones it broke in the same way as the other one and the year warrenty is up hahaha.

luckily we have a friend whos dad is high up at burton so he just gave him a shaun white for free.

let that be a lesson to all you shitheads that buy burton stuff just because shaun white buys it and you see burton logos all over your mountain.

i will never buy a burton hardgood in my life. the quality is shit. by the way if you want a good quality twin for a good price, get an atomic hatchet. burton has been trying to copy it by releasing the blunt, but the hatchet is still better.

hey calm down dude, also shaun white doesnt "buy" burton, and it doesnt make you cool to hate on him just because he is popular...he is easily the best competitor in the world no matter how popular he gets.

ok so ive responded to like... 15 of these threads. anyways, boards break. so far ive snapped the tails off of 2 jeenyus's, 1 scotty arnold, 4 gnu dk's, and a burton seven. it just happens with every board company. i have friends that have broken tons of boards from diff comps too. you have to think about what youre doing on these things on a regular basis. tail blocks, presses, jumps where you land backseat causing torsional flex. it just happens, its a skinny piece of wood.

yea i have a un...inc and im suprised at how well its held up. I thought i snapped it doing a front 180 off a mid size jump and i felt it. but its held up. ALTHOUGH im never getting a burton board again because my friends brteak theres. im going with capita i think

It's been trendy for so long. Makes the people who actually ride it/break it look like bandwagon-jumpers. I've ridden enough to have my own opinion on them. I wont buy their hardgoods again, but that's me.

i had sworn off burton back in 93, but then this year my shop manager handed me a burton proform card and said "your riding burton this year so deal with it" not a huge fan of the board i got (Baron ES164/ p1 bindings) but i love the boots. i actually think it isd the bindibngs i dont like, but the board does lack effective edge for how big it is. not as responsive a smy old stick either. but to say the least i have put well over 50 hard days on the boarsd from VT to Tahoe and everything has held together quite well.

all in all if i just put my drake teams back on it i think i would be happy.
