i feel for anyone who had to hike the mountain today. or yesterday i guess. fuck that. also fuck getting told to ski down when you just hiked to the top. fuck that.
 
LOL... funny how everyone is turning on bogus... i love it!

i do feel sorry for those who had to hike out tho... that sucks... i would be irritated too.
 
First run of the day a patrol "host" butt hole followed us down to the lift line to tell us he should clip our passes for skiing too fast.

I in turn bitched him out and yelled at him in front of just about everyone in the lift line and got props for doing so from the lifty. Then we decided to spend the rest of our day fucking off and spraying gapers off showcase. Fun times.

The funny thing was that we were not going very fast at all nor skiing out of control or even remotely dangerous. I could understand if we were doin mach 10 backwards but it was just uncalled for.

Thank god I clipped a pass and didn't buy a season. Fuck you Bogus, you over pretentious stuck up power tripping douchebags.
 
I got off the lift, and sat down at the bench there at the top of the lift to wait for my buddies. So i decided to do people watch and noticed that the ski patrol lady was only telling people with regular sized clothing (nothing baggy or tight) that the lift was closed. I went over and asked her if the lift was still closed and she looked at me from my head to my boots and saw my tight pants and glared at me and said "yes its still broke" i asked why and she said "computer problems" so i said oh well thats not too bad, at least its not mechanical and she said "yeah, can you move please, your blocking the way for people getting off the lift". I was welllll out of anybodies way.

Just thought id put that out there
 
hmmm... this spring up at bogus might be fun... host ski patrol spray day? gaper spraying is totally fine too. just as long as the legit ski patrol doesn't get sprayed... unless they do something to deserve it.

i've been loving these stories... keep em comin!

just for clarification, we had to hike up, then when we were at the top, Bogus ski patrollers made us ski back down because they were closing the mountain. it was bullshit.

i think everyone is to hard on bogus basin. i skied it for the first time this season it's definatly not the steepest mountain and doesn't get the most pow but i still found lots of fun jibs and cliffs to shred. i know seeing the pictures of resorts like breck, keystone, tahoe, and whistler makes a newscooler wish they could call that place home but hell kids in florida are looking at bogus and saying thats sick! appreciate what you have.
 
its almost so big you can see it in the picture!!! I bet the next dew tour stop is at bogus they just said it was at mount snow to make it a suprise for everyone.
 
i rode the lift with dumont on numerous occasions. needless to say, we're best friends now. his friends told me i was weird or something. whatever man. its the Dudemont.
