last friday i ordered a new macbook pro for school and used the $200off an ipod to get a 160gb classic.

as i was checking out i saw that i could get it delivered in 2 days so i paid an extra 18 bucks to get it here soon.

fast forward to today, i get home from work and there is a package on my deck. my ipod is here ( 6 days later ) and still no macbook. so i went inside and checked my email and there is one from apple saying that my macbook has shipped.

scroll down to tracking number and it says it will be here the 7th. fuck. ill already be at school and macless.

so about 5 minutes ago i got off the phone with apple, they wont give me back my shipping money and they basicly told me to fuck myself and it will be here when it gets here. fuck apple

Damn, thats rough, unfortunately I don't think there's much you can do about it. Never been an Apple fan myself, though.
 
weird ive always had amazing service with apple, Guess they don't like what colour you got your fixie in then...

Same thing happened to me with my macbook pro. I payed the $18 for 2-3 day shipping or whatever and it did't come for five days....
 
Seems like the smart choice now, eh? That sucks though. You do realize that ordering it on Friday means it probably won't get shipped until the beginning of the next week, right?
 
I like the people who are surprised that someone would be angry about this. You would be mad if it were you, just sayin.
 
yeah i bought the extra like 100 dollar warranty on my ipod so i could get it fixed if it ever happened to break. well one day i pull my ipod out of my pocket and the screen was cracked. they wouldnt cover it. like the op said... FUCK APPLE
 
they can't offer 2 day shipping and make you pay more for it if it's literally impossible for them to do it. that is illegal.
 
it mightve been a better idea to just drive the 5 hours round trip to buy it in person, and it's not the biggest problem in the world. that being said, paying extra for fast shipping and getting your stuff really late is complete bullshit, hate when that happens
 
damn, that shitty. apple sucks for not at least giving you your money back. you know what I do when I don't get my way? When you called the helpline and the guy refused to give you your $ back, you should have asked him what his full name was so you could report him. people get reeaaaaal scared. anyways, you'll be glad when your mbp comes, they're lovely.
 
i think they are made in china, not shipped from there. i don't know. but it just wouldn't make sense from a business/supply chain point of view.
 
My God you people are idiots. He's not complaining about the fact that he's "macless", but the fact that he paid 18 dollars extra for a delivery in 2 days! And it's not there! And they don't give a fuck! God... Well, it's USA, sue them.
 
Me too. They didnt activate my itunes card and when i took it back with my receipt and shit they said they couldnt do anything about it.

Exactly. The company is supposed to help the customer, and if they mess something up, fix it or at least offer something to help.
 
just got a new macbook pro.....you will fucking loveee them once you get it..... I am literally obsessed with this thing. Best computer I have ever used. F'ing incredible.
