FTP Archive?

So, I was thinking.... (famous last words, eh?)

Anyway, I was wondering if there could be a setup to archive and download entire NSR shows? Like, archive them on an FTP server at a fairly low bitrate, and then just make it a public FTP w/o write/delete access? idk exactly how that works, but could it be done? I wouldn't imagine that taking up huge amounts of bandwidth, compared to the videos section.... but I also don't know how big shows are.
