trying to compare skiing to DJing is ridiculous. I have two CD-R turntables myself, they're hella expensive and unless you're really serious about DJing why would you buy all that equipment. i mean good luck and all i just dont think you're going to be able to sell it on here but hell, you might prove me wrong.
