Fs switch up

cool.

ok, so i grind naturally with my right foot forward and i spin naturally to the left. i can do bs swap fine and fs 2 out fine but whenever i go for a fs switch up its always right at the end of the rail. i really want to get them down because i feel like they are really holding my rail skills back.
any advice on doing them earlier on the rail?
p.s. i can do them on boxes but i usually just spin and not hop or hop a little bit

make sure the rail is long enough, possibly go slower also. but keep doing it at the end of the rail, its all practice then try to do it a little sooner and even sooner. just keep practicing man

scissor with your right heel (press right tail/put pressure on right heel) and that will give you a good grip on the rail and the place you are putting pressure on acts as sort of a pivot point for u to spin on, making a fs switch up easier. if i didnt explain the scissoring well and u want to see some video, go the the top rated vid section under media and watch all 8 w t-wall, hes a scissoring beast

my bad. think about landing already scissoring then, idk. i do the same thing sometimes and it helps to tell urself to just commit and visualize it i guess

yeah when i try front swups (though, you know i'm not all that great at em) i think about landing in a sort of scissor or just try to land with some pressure on the inside edge of my front ski.

dont do a full entry on the rail as you would usually do . keep your shoulders looking down the rail, which will give some momentum for the switch up.when you do a front side 270 out , your upper body rotates before your lower body. thats the same kind of motion you want to do but a the begining of the rail.look at some footy of guys doing 270 outs and frnt side swtich ups, dont look a wallish or top pros cause their been doing it for year and they dont have the same motion and thescnique blablabla for you guys to learn this trick. look at some kid who just got the trick and is really exagerating the technique and movement for this trick.
