FS: Signed Jon Olsson Mojo 90s w/ Mojo 15 bindings

I know this is very sad... and I feel pathetic but economically it makes no sense for me to hold onto these amazing skis that I won from tyroliagame.com. So here's the scoop... the skis have NEVER been skied and are the 176 Mojo 90s signed (twice - once on each ski) by Jon Olsson with the Mojo 15 bindings set for a 344mm boot (Tyrolia mounted the bindings for me when I won). I had asked Tyrolia to mount the bindngs 4cm forward, however I'm pretty certain they are mounted at the normal mounting position . I'm asking $750 for the skis... here's your chance to get a sick pair of skis - signed by your favorite athlete. Here are some pics:

Yea - I know it seems expensive... but this set up actually costs $775 at my local shop. $600 for the skis like $175 for the bindings. Head/Tyrolia stuff is expensive I guess...

dope but to be honest theres very few ppl on this site that would drop that kind of money, but you never know. Have you tried Ebay or anything to sell them?

seem like theyre mounted pretty far back. And you're not getting that much for a pair of skis, the signature usually doesnt mean much. Probably at most $500.

Yeah... I figured I'd try selling them here first before going with Ebay. Like I said... the setup actually costs MORE at my local shop (granted I personally don't have that kind of loot to drop), so the signature is basically for free.

Yeah - I def did ask for the bindings to be mounted 4cm forward... on the side of the skis it says "3.5" and has a diameter sign on it (the only mounting marking on the ski itself) and my midpoint of my boot is slightly forward from it so maybe it is "4cm" forward... but the usual mounting point is considered 3.5cm forward?

for pow skis, those would be fantastic mounted where they are. The 90s are some REALLY nie skis, and those bindings are really good too, good luck with your sale, if i had the money, id buy them.

The recommended point is actually pretty good for all-around riding. I like it for park (although I'm sure most of you would want it further forward), but the tips do dive a lot in powder. Anyways, try selling them on ebay, I think full retail on those is $800 or something so somebody should pick them up for that price or thereabouts.

quite simply, a signature doesnt mean squat, if you looking for alot of money for these, take them to ebay. No one here will buy a ski for 750, then if they buy it for park they have to remount them right away because of the silly mount thats one them now.

quite simply, wait till spring before you drop 750 on skis, everything goes on sale.

I bet someone here would pay 750 for next year's pollards... but that's about it.

"quite simply" these skis are dope... and people who are real Jon fans will actually appreciate the signature. Obviously you don't care for Jon, which is fine... but to say that a 'signature doesn't mean squat' is pretty ignorant.

I'm selling the skis UNDER what they would cost at my local shop... if someone makes me a reasonable offer, I could probably take some $$ off the price.

I'm sorry but autographed skis are pretty stupid. If you want to display that you got his signature, get it on a picture and put in on your wall. Skis are meant to be used, and guess what, topsheets get chipped, scratched and sharpie will wear off after time. Then guess what, you have skis that used to be signed by Jon.

Also, its a pretty shitty snow year everywhere but the PNW and Colorado, and even those places are hurting lately. Shops all over the country and selling skis at huge discounts. Fuck, you can even get ARGs for like 500 bucks now.

Also, unless you are a shop yourself, you won't get the retail value of the skis selling on the internet, even if they are new, which yours aren't. They have been drilled. Best of luck with your sale, but if you really want to sell these you might want to consider offers a couple hundred dollars lower.

AAHHHHHHHHHHHHH... like I said before:

"I'm selling the skis UNDER what they would cost at my local shop... if someone makes me a reasonable offer, I could probably take some $$ off the price."

Make a reasonable offer... and the skis are yours.

ahh... but I have documentation from Tyrolia that I won the skis from the contest.

and you would be a filthy, lieing, cheat if you were to do so!

Someone make me an offer on these skis mang.

you are not going to get anything near your asking price on here, just put em up on eGay. Its your best bet if you want more than $500.

cuz they emailed me when I won and asked for my boot length in mm...

Once they came I realized that it doesn't make sense for me to keep two pairs of skis, especially when I barely make rent w/ all my loans right now.

NO, I replied w/ my boot length & also asked for +4. Unfortunately, they must've not understood - the marketing guy from tyrolia who contacted me was in Austria and his English wasn't the best. If you don't believe me, I can post the emails and take closer pictures of the skis to show that they've never been skied on.

No i belive you, but if they asked for your boot sole length, why not say "I dont want them mounted"

Just saying

yeah in hindsight it definitely would have made more sense... but when you get an email saying "Congrats you are the winner of signed pair of Mojo 90's signed by Jon Olsson" and they ask to make sure they have the correct address and want your boot length to have the skis mounted.... after I pooped my pants I immediately responded with my boot length.
