Selling off my nikon kit because the paper I work at is all canon (having someone else in charge of buying your cameras is neat.) and I'm trying to go to Japan to ski pow.

Nikon d5 with 4 batteries and dual charger - $1250

Nikon d750 w/ grip and extra batteries - $500

Nikon 300 2.8g vr I - $1600

Nikon 50 1.4g - $100

Nikon 70-200 2.8 vr ii - $600 (some loose rubber on the zoom ring, but glass is still good)

Nikon 28 1.4e (best nikon lens ever) - $850

Nikon 35 1.4 ai-s $250

Nikon d800 (sd card slot spring is broken but low shutter count) - $250

I also have a couple of beat up f2s/manual focus lenses and some godox speedlights/transmitter you can make me an offer for or I might be convinced to include in the deal if you spend money on other things

I'm not on here a ton anymore but you can find me on instagram: @rohl_man

dm me there for pictures/details on condition

Since the majority of you are probably not in the midwest we can talk about shipping. I'm not gonna pay to ship you just the 50 1.4 g but if you want to buy for example my d5 and 300 we can talk. I can probably meet you in person anywhere from Des Moines to Chicago and a reasonable amount north or south of there.

I'd love to have all of this stuff but threads while I think about the 28 and 35. What manual lenses do you have, and would you consider shipping to Maine?

This is a great opportunity for someone to get a full frame camera at a good price. If I didn't already have a D800 I'd buy that.

Can the D800 shoot video? I have a cannon 30D that is pretty old and starting to run out of steam. It also does not have video capability.

D800 shoots in 24 and 30 fps. This was shot with one.

Thats sick, how does it do with follow cams and pan shots?

It's fairly heavy as cameras go these days. How a camera works for follows and pans completely depends on your other equipment- dolly, tripod, handles, stabilizer. The longer your lens is, the more you will notice the camera's movement.

I use it to follow and pan occasionally with 'soft hands'- just holding the camera with a 24 or 50 mm lens and it's not super smooth but works fine.
