What size is the iPhone.

And if you jail break it, can I just insert my sim card into it, and it will work fine?

I have AT&T anyway

but do you think you could call AT&T and ask them to activate the current sim card in the phone so your old one doesn't work anymore, and all this free of charge?

yes you can take out the sim. on the top of the phone there is a little hole. put a paperclip in it and the sim tray will pop out

theres a little sim card slot at the top of the phone that few people know about, but you can just pop your card inn if you have att

they are mounted -2 i believe. IMO they were pretty stiff but you could still butter and fool around on them.

Typically...more than the new ones.

The old iPhone is still the only one that is able to be unlocked for other carriers, the baseband on the 3G model has yet to be cracked, even by the most experienced developers and hackers out there working on it.

The statement that any ATT sim will work in this phone as-is fails though. The first gen iPhones were not simply carrier-locked, there were also sim-locked...meaning that even if I take out the sim card and insert another totally legit ATT sim in it's place (even another iPhone sim) it won't work for calls and SMS. The phone must be software unlocked in order to work with ANY sim card other than the one that it was shipped with.

But unlocking isn't a hard thing to do at this point in the game, when it all started there was command-line and all kinds of hoops to jump through...15 mins and you can be unlocked as of today.

The new iPhone 3G WILL however, work with any ATT sim, but in order to get your hands on the device you have to sign the contract for the data plan, etc. Or buy it on eBay for $750 without a contract, your choice.

I just sold my first gen 8gb iPhone locally for $380 to give you an idea of what you should expect to pay.

To the seller: Try craigslist man, I threw mine up there and got half a dozen emails in almost no time flat.

are the sth 12's stronger than the z12's? i would imagine yes because of the push to make the z's lighter therefore putting in weaker parts but i may be wrong, i dunno if they're too weak to put on my bacons

im probably not selling it on NS since everyone has told me about how much they have sold theirs for on ebay and stuff.
