yes as the thread states these bindings are functionally great, i will take better pics if you are going to buy them but i assure its cosmetic.

my friend, that is the casing on the heal piece. it is in no way "broken

threw the heal peice" nor will it ever be since its made out of metal.

it in no way effects performance of the binding. feel free to pm if you

have any further questions. these bindings have been cared for by myself a ski tech, and the pictures and my discription disclose everything.

thanks for coming out though!

I trust Love_Wins and what he has to say about FKS... He knows his shit(but in no way am I saying that you don't).

All you would need to do is just get some epoxy and throw it in those holes and call it a day!

Good deal too... Why are FKS going on the cheap when I have no money? FML.

You, good sir, are wrong.

The upper (gold) part of the heel assembly is plastic, and when you use a pole to release the bindings, it tears up that portion of the plastic, and that is a direct route to the insides of the binding...not only that, but the DIN indicator is directly under that area, so about half a dozen more releases with a pole and it'll snap in half, meaning you can't see what the DIN is...you'll turn the screw, but nothing will happen. I know this because I've repaired multiple pairs with this problem.

If the DIN indicator is intact, than it's a fairly easy fix...but if left alone it's bad news.

if you, or the buyer wants help taking them apart (it's got a coupe little things that you'll need to do, and know before you attempt) then I can help.

Good price, just saying that should be repaired. They're definitely still ridable, etc.

I should clarify that when I said "nothing will happen" I really meant that the DIN will change, but the indicator will not move, so knowing your actual DIN is near impossible.

Basically you separate the gold part the the black, use some epoxy to repair the hole, make sure that you grind any excess with a dremel and drill bit, and then fit them back together.

i have a pair of 155's that have been worn threw like that for 3 years.no problems test fine. i know how to fix these i just see no point , i'm not sure what sort of issues you had feel free to p.m me love wins

i'll also tell you an easier way of fixing the heal pieces when its worn threw if you would like. its an easy fix, i just don't see an issue with it.
