I have a handful of pairs of 08/09 rockered Surface Live Life 2's. They were pressed with the Live Life 1 graphic and cannot be sold to shops or normal customers for this reason. I'll hook you guys up with a pair for $425 plus shipping. A banger of a deal.

They are this graphic, but have the equally rockered tip and tail. See thesurfacelab.blogspot.com for pictures of the rocker.

ahhhh holy fuck.

i hate seeing such a good deal and knowing i already have all the skis i could possibly need.

Couple questions, as a Surface/rockered ski NEWB......

1. Can anybody comment on the skis' ability on hardpack?

2. I would be mounting them telemark....doubt anybody has an opinion on this, but worth a shot to ask.

3. Because of question #2, i'm usually concerned with topsheet chipping....these pretty tough on top?

Thanks!

And to seanpistol, very interested! look for a pm....

the skis handle real nice on hardpack, that's all i've gotten to ski them on.
and anyone scared of the 189, they ski quite a bit shorter than that, when you see them in person you wouldn't think they're 189.

Rocker makes them run short. They're more like a 187.

Nobody has hopped on these yet. Someone tried to lowball a banger deal, but nothing solid.

god damn cant wait to get my hands on a pair of these. sickest rockered ski ever this design is going to blow up.

Slightly under the influence and pulled the trigger....had been considering them for a while, made a bunch of cash today, and decided Christmas come early.

Can't wait to get them - thanks Sean.

Will be mounting telemark (yeah, i know, nobody cares) but super stoked to ride these sick puppies.

I have an itchy trigger finger...
I know this is a long shot, but has anyone skied these and ANTs? I have ANTs and really want another ski in the quiver that skis a lot more easily in pow, trees and other tight spots when im feeling lazy.

I have, haha.

ANTS are great. I mounted mine traditionally and pointed it everywhere. Super rad ski for hauling ass and making very little turns.

LL2's are meant for skiing switch as easily as you ski forward in pow. Center mount is the only way to go. With the rocker you won't get tip dive no matter how deep it is and how hard you're flexing your boots forward. The sidecut is on the turny side. Kicks ass in trees and tight spots, but you can still open it up and make 3 turns down an open face. Flex is medium. Not a noodle like a Hellbent, but definitely not an ANT.

this is the graphic that i wished was on the ll2 in the first place. if that was the case i would have bought these over the jjs funny that this happened.

can i justify another rockered ski in my quiv? hmmm.

oh man, this is the most fun ski i've ever been on... we got over 13" of fresh last night, so today was fucking awesome! i highly recommend these skis

yeah how are these on groomers and in the park? I'm going to be moving out west in a few months but would i be able to ski them on my east coast groomers and park a bit, until i head out for march break and then eventually move out there.
