If you have the option of getting a lens that has no electronic controls in either Nikon or Canon Mount, it's a lot smarter to get the Nikon. Just get a cheap adapter and you'll be good to go. You'll easily be able to adapt it to any camera mount you get in the future, something you can't do if you get the canon version

 
someone buy this up! Sigma cine lenses are some of the best you can get for the money. Don't worry that they are nikon mount, I've used them with a cheap ebay nikon to canon adapter with absolutely zero issues!
