Frontpage Media Slideshow too quick

First and foremost, the new site is SOO SICK. Great job guys. From the functionality to the design, its very impressive... web 2.0 steeze.

Secondly, I love the frontpage news "slideshow" if you will. But I think it scrolls a little to fast. By the time the photos are loaded, it immediately switches to the next article. And i'm on 16mbps connection, so its not slow at loading images.

Anyone else think its going too fast?

Yeah I completely agree. The front page definitely needs some reworking in a few ways.
