So ive started trying frontflips and ive gotten pretty close but in my latest attempts my right ski (the one that is more forward) keeps falling off but it didnt the first times. Am i doing somthing different now or wat cuz my bindings dont seem to have gotten lose or anything? Help please

that might be happening because your foot is too far behind when you try to jump like one at a time

if your boot is too far behind the lip when you jump the front of your ski will impress too much for the binding to withstand

So i should wait longer to start the flip from the jump?

by the way when i said that my ski pops off i mean on the jump wen i start the flip

i tried a frontflip yesterday, and literally broke the tail off one of my skis....it was fun though

yeah wait pop off your feet a little longer

i watched this kid try a front flip and both skis ejected because he leaned forward to soon on the lib and both skis ejected and just sat on the lip of the jump... funny shit

Y this happened to me once this sunday, I started the flip too soon and the one ski ended up with too much pressure on it so it popped off, and I basically landed it one ski then lost control at the bottom of the landing lol (skiing with one ski isn't easy when you aren't expecting it lol) so I just timed it better next time and it worked out. Also I find that the more pop the lip of the jump has the harder it is, just my 2 cents

How should we go about diagnosing your problem if you do not tell us a) if your ski popped off on the take-off (however unlikely) or the landing and b) how you thought your rotation/landing ended up. Did you land on an angle laterally? Did you land with the R foot forward or to the rear of your L ski? Did you land backseat, centered or forward. Was your take-off fucked up? Check your bindings maybe?

When I do my flips I keep my feet together and start leaning forward and throwing my arms at the top of the lip right before take off...if you do it too early that might be the problem but I would double check the bindings. And it's more likely that your ski will eject when on a steeper/poppier lip.
