Front flips are easy regardless what kind of ski you have unless it is as stiff as some morning wood.
Just stagger your feet, keep your hands above your head, throw all your weight down at the top of the lip and stomp that shit.
really? you need to stagger your skis? never tried that.
but ya man, have some pow in the landing. thats all you need. the first time i tryed one, it was off a backflip almost vert jump, and it didnt hurt because of pow.
Nah, I meant doing it off a real jump. Everyone does them differently, but I find I get the most leverage and control with a slightly staggered stance as opposed to the skis being even. Try it both ways and decide for yourself.
the first time i tried one it was off a pretty good sized jump. it is a really weird felling at first but once u try it you will get addicted to doing them, i sure am. you will most likely land it if you commit
i love how everyone on ns is always just like "yeah that shit is so easy, go for it, you'll stomp it!!!!" . even when people are saying they've never tried flips or corks or whatever it may be. wait for some pow, make a jump and then yes, stomp that shit. but just in case you land on your head youll be ok.
Uhhhhh... fronts ARE easy. Where I live we don't get pow. I tried my first one on a 25ft park jump, got a bit sideways and skidded out. The next one I tried I stomped it and rode away like a G.
Ya fronts are pretty fun and easy. Tried them for the first time last year off a 45 ft jump. Overrated that shit an smacked my face on my knees lol. Next run i stomped that shit like i was T Wall CLAIM. But ya just throw all your weight forward as you come off the lip
