So ive been trying to learn front flips but cant seem to get em. Im essentially rolling to the knuckle and then sliding my right foot back and then kinda planting off it and trying to kick myself in the back of the head (not literally). i always seem to land on my back though. Anybody got any tips? Also whats the best place to do em off of? Thanks alot!!

don't try to kick yourself in the head. that can create a scorpion affect. Instead just push foward and tuck. thats the main thing, your landing on your back cause your not tucking. also don't just fall and then not try it, that was my problem, i would land on my back and then be done with the trick for the day. I garentee that if you fall once get up, think about the tuck and try it again, you will be much closer to landing it then you were the first time. Good luck

great advice dude.
Also think pop then tuck also tuck your chin in and slap your hands on your shins. Dont set it like some crazed animal . really think about the timing and how long it should take to flip so you know where you are the hole time. I would try it in some pow with a good landing

pop is the key on this trick if ur doing it off knuckles. if u saw dumonts front off the knuckle at xgames big air he popped that thing like a mother fucker. also when ur coming around i look at the outside of my right boot and spot it from there.

if ur trying on a jump all i can say is commit. whether its a 30 footer or an 80 footer its the same set only difference is the amount of time u spend laid out. all it takes is the balls to hold the layout before u tuck

I like fronting off of 10-15 foot cliffs and off of backcountry jibbing jumps. Just lean back, huck forward, stay compact by tucking and you can grab your knees or whatever to help. Then when you feel that you are coming around, just open up and stomp it. Good luck!
