I think they look ok. They definitely can be overused (cough cough Karsteder), but they can also be tasteful in some situations. I never understood why some skiers like Forster Meeks are so against them. Double swaps look really bad though.

I think two front swaps can look nice when done right and in the right circumstance. All the young kids at my local are obsessed with fs fs 2/4/6 out tricks which arent really my jam

Last year I did a ton of work trying to learn elusive because I thought that it sounded cool and somehow got pretty consistent with them but now I regret it because it’s a boring ass trick.
 
My hotter take is that backswap to switch is just as lazy as frontswap to forward though, maybe the most overrated trick (still do em tho)
 
I think we’re getting a little too knit picky with tricks lately tbh. The constant criticism of “easier” tricks really just sucks the fun right out of the whole game for me.
