It's cool that he can get the actual tip of his skis in such a smooth trick. But come on. That looks pretty much like one of them "rocket" or "zute" grabs from way back in the day.

Why don't we just bring back huntonys and toxic grabs while we're at it.

personally sick trick. but the grab doesn't really do it for me. Maybe when i see it way more times or get used to it

 
First of all I never said it was "gay" not did I say it wasn't a good trick. I just think the grab is kind of ridiculous looking.

It would be incredibly hard to do in a spin like that, sure.

But I just hate how it looks.

Also is that grab "phantom" or actually grabbed?

It just doesn't look fully grabbed.

It really doesn't make a huge difference, as he's so so so far down those giant skis he's on, that it's crazy.

its pretty cool that he can do it in a cab 7 and its nothing like toxics or huntonys man lighten up he is trying somting new and in my opinion andthing "true" is sick because its not a half arsed attempt. i also hate 1 footer rails but hey mike wilson is the worst skier out. he goes and hucks stupid ariels and expects a standing ovation well mikey boy you are taking skiing the worng way and flips off rails are really gay that was like two yeas ago man that shits been done. balls arent what cuts it in the park anymore you need proper style and the ability to actually be able to ski switch and spin switch on you natural side not go switch right side and hope for the best. Basically i hope MSP doesnt have an entire section devoted to mike wilson flipping off rails, straight airing massive jumps and hucking double flips with the worst possible style imaginalble.

Def the best front page so far. When i first saw that I just sat and stared at it for a little while. For all the haters, do you know how much flexibilty it must take, let alone the corrdination to do that with a cork 7, and going switch?

I dunno personally I think its super sick. However I dont really dig the double nose like that style personally. Id like to see the video before I make any final judgments though.

3rd and 4th frames are downright comical. Double grabs = dope, but let's stick to single in the true nose department... unless it's somehow possible to make that look less ridiculous.

In retrospect I've seen Colby do those in pipe and they actually looked pretty sick... It might just be that shot.

its not the old school style that makes it a good trick, its the difficulty and the fact that he owned it that makes it stylish. You may think the trick looks bad but like all other good tricks, he did it clean and its progressive. colbys the shit

 
having aids is different. that isnt awesome. on top of the aforementioned phrase, im also sick of how stoked people get on things that are 'different.' just because its different doesnt mean its cool.

note: the trick is hilarious. i laughed for quite a while when i saw it. whats not hilarious is the amount of butt hugging idiots that will be copying it for months to come.
