Front flip tips

if you can front flip literally anything else youll probably get it first or second try. your gonna land sitting on your skis just a heads up. you got it tho

Video of dude front flipping to the moon and back at nine knights naked with a special "don't try this at home" safety tag.

I have nothing to offer but they're fun as hell. I think harder to dial them in on big shit sometimes than backflips. I miss frons though

Prolly been 5 or 6 years since Ive even done one :(

Gotta be able to roll off your tips or you'll end up doing a crash dive to your back. Practice by leaning foreword and rolling off the tips til your hands meet the ground. Good idea to spot the landing before you tuck. Go into the jump like you're gonna double high five someone and get to superman position til you tuck. Kicking one foot back can make it easier to learn but will set bad habits long term so I suggest you try to learn with an even takeoff. Avoid looking out the side mid flip as well.

Learn without poles or at least make sure you hold them horizontally when you land, way too easy to plant them unintentionally as you land and smash your face on them as your body comes around.

This is my front flip progression having never done one before on tramp. Tighten ur dins so u don’t double eject :)

More pop. Kick them ankles back. On that size jump, you need to get them around.

That back hit looked fucking gnarly

yea i figured that shit out some guys at the mtn taught me how to use my legs more instead of just hucking with my arms, rlly helped. Thanks.

Yikes did that break your ski? You need a lot more speed

ski was already about to snap but that definitely finished er off. i was trying to do it over that shitty spine and the problem wasn’t really speed as much as it was the jump being too small. idk coulda made it around with more speed but i woulda landed flat as hell

Thought this could've gone without saying...learn off a cat track or some other flat drop.

Yeah it's as easy as a 360 once you learn it just depends on how big the jump is
