From jj to magic j?

ive skied on the armada jj for the season, and enjoyed it to the most. i love the surfy feel and the lightness, but wanted something more stiff. i came across a nice deal for a magic j 190cm. i was wondering if its to powder specific, because it'll be my one ski quiver. I want my skis to be fun on the downdays, so it has to hold its edge on groomers and carve. im 6''2, 73 kilos and a advanced skier. should i go for it, or stick to the jj's?
 
It ps not that big of a difference, I know people with wider skis that kill it on groomer days, but it depends on what you think and your preference
 
They don't do too well on groomers in my opinion. They are so wide its hard to get edge to edge on hard snow.
 
i've ridden both magic j's and jj's, and you really cannot lean the magic j's over on groomers. i found the magic js to be softer, maybe because i ride the 195 jj's
 
the magic j is not much stiffer then the jj, if you want stiffer you will have to look for something else
 
You can rip Magic J's on groomers no problem, edge to edge.

Also I was bombing it just the other day on mine and according to ski tracks I got my fastest ever speed and they felt fine.

There is one place they suck and that is moguls, maybe I just can't ski moguls, but I hate them there.

Apart from that though they are so good that whenever I change to a different ski I wish straight away I had my magic j's instead.

europe, skiing on groomers from powfield to powfield, not intrested in park skiing (sorry NS)

i think we share the hate on groomers
 
according to armada's site, the magic j is slightly stiffer. but long story shirt, they still can rip groomers, just not as easy?
