Lately I've been seeing people with different colored parts on their frogskins. Like every part is a different color, including lenses and everything. Anyone know anything about this? How do you take them apart?
 
well I have a pair and the ear peace comes off real easy and im pretty sure the lenses do too. I have never seen people with diffrent colour parts on them but that would be sick.
 
Are you SURE that they were even Oakley Frogskins and not just imitations? I work pretty closely with a few Oakley reps and know what colors they do and don't for production, which the only multicolor was a limited release of ~30. I was just in Whistler a few weeks ago as well and most of the glasses you see everyone in are imitation, cheap crap.
 
welllllll my good sir. why would you buy glasses for 100$ when you can get the exact same glasses for five bucks off ebay??? i got a pair off of ebay in ozone blue, super sick. and my bro got some in white, thats ten bucks instead of 200...... and actually they arnt that cheap, they are made of thicker and feels like sturdear plastic then the toadskins
 
I looked at them pretty closely, unless they make fakes with the real Oakley logo, they were definitely legit. I think people have started taking them apart and putting other parts together.
 
frogskins would definitely be sick in diferent colored pieces but i've never seen it...
if you ask me i'd say go for the ray bans, they are the original and are equal in awesomness
 
Very interesting. Either someone has quite a few pairs they did this with or a company bought up a number of pairs to mix and match and re-sell... I figured I would have heard something about that if that were the case.
 
i own a pair and you CAN interchange parts fairly easily. Arms simply pop off, and im sure lenses do too. (although i am a little un-easy about doing so)
