SARATOGA SPRINGS - Police have identified the body found in Saratoga
Spa State Park this morning as Alexander Carsky-Bush, 19, of Saratoga
Springs.
Police are treating his death as suspicious. His body was found by two
dogs being exercised in the park, Saratoga County District Attorney
James Murphy said. Authorities are not yet commenting on the possible
cause of death.
Carsky-Bush's body was discovered at 8:30 a.m. in a wooded area near Crescent Avenue.
The
State Police's Bureau of Criminal Investigation is on the scene and
Murphy said investigators are being cautious in their handling of the
case, treating the death as if it involved foul play.
He said
authorities believe Carsky-Bush died late Monday night or early today.
The remains were frozen by the night's frigid temperatures, he said.
The
body was discovered by two golden retrievers that a woman was
exercising in the park. Murphy said several objects were found near the
body, including a bag.
"I think anytime you find a body in the
state park, it certainly is unusual and very significant," Murphy said
to the media this morning. "Certainly, this is not what appears to be
ordinary."
The dog park is closed and police have used yellow
tape to close off the area where the body was discovered. An autopsy is
scheduled for Wednesday morning at Albany Medical Center, and police
also are waiting for results of a toxicology report.

I'm not super close friends with his brother, but i have known him for a while. I've skied with both him and his brother before. My Soon-to-be stepdad passed away last saturday and i thought that was hard enough, I cant even begin to imagine how awful it would be to lose a sibling.
Rest In Peace.
