alrighty i need some help with everything

ok sooo today i was slowly driving out of the parking lot at my highschool going by a group of kids and my friends, most of the time, jumped on the side of the front of my car and pushed off...he quickly looked down with a kinda look of fright on his face and wiped the spot he had just jumped off of...i rolled down my window and said what the fuck man...and he quickly said dude nothing happened its fine...i was like it better be man and then i drove away because i thought it was fine...i get to my friends house and i get out to check the damage if there is any...so i get out and go up front...right away im like what the fuck!! there's about a grapefruit/melon sized dent in the side of my car right over the wheel well and below the edge of the hood where it kinda curves...fuck meee!!! so i try and find a way to pop it out...back of the wheel well is covered in a black blocker so i cant reach it there...under the hood is also covered by my windsheild fluid tank...soooo ive determined that i cant fix it myself and it needs to get professionally popped back in...

So i text the DB who did it and im like dood you fuckin dented my car...he denies it and says it was already there...me:no it wasnt man, ive never seen that before and when i walked by that part to get in the car it wasnt there...him:another DB said that it was dented before and DB1 didnt do it...me: what the hell man we'll see what i costs to repair and then we'll fuckin talk...him: I didnt even kick it right there so im pretty sure DB2 is right....FUCKIN Ass Holes

So i have a witness in my car who saw the whole thing...neither of us got out to check right away though...soooo what should i do, i told my pops and im waiting for him to get home to figure out the extent of the damage...i dont wanna start beef but if this nukka doesnt pay for the damages ill have my dad talk to his parents and try nd get it outa them...if nothing works ill kick his ass...sooo does any have any experience with getting dents removed yourself or the cost of getting it done?? what does NS think...and i knnow ppl will say kick his ass!!

HALP ME

NSnotes: DBag friend jumps on the front part of my car and leaves a dent bout the size of a grapefruit...i notice like half an hour later after he said nothing happened...txt him and he denies and wont pay for the fixing of it...what should i do besides kick his ass haha

nexttime your at his house, fart on all his pillows/pillow cases.

or invest in some dry ie, and serch teh fuck outta youtube.

If its right above your wheel well, it may affect driving. When you go over speed bumps and shit it might make the wheel scrape. To do it yourself you would have to buy that Billy Mays dent out thing, and who knows if that works. Average cost at a low cost dent removal/bondo/touch up paint place would be around $400. To get legit fixed though you need to replace the whole panel which is much more pricey. If its bad enough to have damaged the frame (which I doubt since you said he just jumped on it), around $2500 depending on the car.

Obviously you're in highschool... so, unless you have some rich parents who bought you a nice car, don't worry about it, because it is likely that you are driving a piece of shit. And if you do have a nice car, just pay to get it fixed because obviously you or your parents have the money. Oh and if you are driving a nice car to school, you deserve to get dents... highschool parking lots are simply full of retards who will give you more door dings than you know what to do with. Highschool drivers should have beater cars plain and simple... IMO

the most important question you have to ask yourself is how much do you care about the car. i had an incident like this and we started pounding on it with rubber mallets and drilling holes and doing the pull on it thing. so if you don't care that much its a hell of a time but if the car is still fairly new/nice/you like it you are going to have to get it done which is going to cost a lot. but either way the kids a douche bag and unless you're willing to sue for it there's not a whole lot of stuff you can do unless the kid owns up to it.

i would've slammed the car in park and got out and beat his ass right when it happened, does he think he's on fucking dukes of hazard? kid needs an attitude adjustment, i understand he doesn't wanna pay for it but he fucked up, you may have to get his mommy involved if he won't man up.

dude dont be an ass...my brand new 2008 BMW Sport just got a dent that will take down the face value soooo much wen i try to sell it next month to get money for a new dodge viper....

FUCK OFF man...i drive my dads audi 1996 A6 that has 188 g in miles...and my dad takes the bus to work from the park and ride near the highway so i can take my brother and me too and from school...so no i dont have the money to fix it and i dont wann wreck it by trying myself...its also the principal of the matter...he jumped on my car and dented it IMO he should pay for the repair because he did it

any helpful info...and i dont think it effects the wheels or the car structure so hopefully it wont be too much cash

are you retarded?!
a kid jumped on it, at most they charge for a dent removal, then for a respray of the fender.
at most 500$. but if its a semi smooth dent, there will be no respray needed, and itll be under $100.
frames not gonna be dented unless said kid is 400+ lbs, and i doubt that would do it anyways.

haha i wish i had gotten out and taken a look...i trusted him when he said nothing happened so i didnt notice till i had left and gone out...i just might have to have my dad talk to his dad...HE's a sensible man

Not trying to be an ass... just saying that any smart person is not going to drive a car they care that much about to highschool. Yeah the kid is a douche for not owning up to it if he really knows he did it. But, you obviously should have looked at it right away. Live and learn right? My advice, leave the dent if the has that many miles on it, because i'd probably just drive it until the wheels fall off (not literally). Or maybe see if your shop class can do it.

i work at a car detailplace and small dens come get fixed all the time they just pussh it from behind or use this suction cup thing and pull it flat if the paint isnt scratched ut shouldnt be that bad

Don't pay for the dent. Just leave it unless you really care about it that much. If you do, make your friend pay for it.

You are afraid of messing up your car because of the black blocker in the Wheel Well? Sorry man but you are freakin out for nothing, that is kinda sad. Your wheel cover is 99% of the time going to be a plastic black cover that is held on by like 6 clips to your fender. Figure out how to take off the clips and your wheel well will move right out of the way. From there all you have to do is pound it out carefully with a rubber mallet or even push it out depending on the dent. It would seriously take no more than 30 minutes maximum if you have any common sense at all. Don't pay a ton of money to get it fixed when you can do it in 5 minutes. If you want to make it even easier, find a secure car jack that isn't adjustable, they will securely hold your car. Take off your wheel and jack up the side so you're at the rotors, you'll have even more access to the dent and wheel well. For an example of the jack see below, they cost like $20 at hardware stores:

I should say, even if it's jacked don't be dumb and get underneath your car.

stop being a bitch and tell him to get it fixed. and dont say things like witness and deny thats pussy shit tell him straight

thanks for the help man but im pretty sure it wont be that easy because the windshield fluid tank is also right infront of it against the car wall...i dont think id be able to get up against the dent to fix it

+K

dont get it fixed until you know he can pay for it, and deff get yours and his parents involved

you can also take that windshield washer reservoir off in less than 2 minutes. just look at it bud...there should either be a clip or a screw that fastens to the car. it's not permanently installed on there. you can take EVERYTHING off of a car....
if you still can't figure it out, go to autozone and get (or look at) a Haynes manual for your car. It's basically a book that tells you how to take your car completely apart and put it back together. you can fix this thing no problem.
oh yeah, GL is right about that black cover. all it is is a black piece of plastic that is held on by clips. all it does is keep water and shit from flying up and hitting your panels. generally you have to push in on the center of the clip and pull the outsides out...if that makes any sense.
what kind of car is it anyway? you might have mentioned it...i just barely grazed this thread.

yahhh man i think we're gonna try and get a dent puller from the a car supply store

if that doesnt work then im gona take it in and make him pay for it...its a 1996 Audi A6

I backed into a Tree with my old car. (Jeep patriot) so it wasn't low it hit the tailgate. I was so pissed.

I went to the auto store and got the "Dent King" for like 15 bucks. went home, spent a little under an hour and it was perfect. I have a bit of OCD for that stuff too so I'm not kidding. I has a hot glue gun and sticks and then you glue the thing to your car and twist it off. It pops out the dent.

I would highly recommend it. I was quoted 870 dollars to repair the back. 15

if its on the fender just pull the whole fender off... really easy pop ur hood and look for about 3 bolts on top. then open ur door and look in ur jam should be one bolt unbolt it. then u have better access. also check if your paint is "wrinkled". if it is then thats gunna be more expensive to fix. when they fix a fender and have to repaint in then they have to blend into the door which means sandind down your door. the blend works by when you sand your door u sand off the clear coat then when u paint ur fender u clear coat the fender and the door. paint is going to be the most expensive part. i would try it yourself if u cant fix it take it in to fix it.

as someone already mentioned you can remove the wheel well cover with the simple removal of some clips, and even if th wiper fluid is still in the way its worth it to try, cuz if you can get your hand in there, you'll probably be able to push it out. i got a dent on my 02 civic in pretty much the same place (based on your description) and i just undid approx 10 clips, and pushed it out with my hand. I have zero auto experiance, and the whole thing took about 45 minutes, so at least give it a try

good luck man,

btw i love audis

teach him a lesson and take your gun and do some target practice with his car. Tie his family up inside for added effect.

or you frogret about it?

if its big enough you can take a punger and pull it out. otherwise just take off either the blocker or the windshield tank. both are easy to do. and to the kid who said not to get underr your car- how are you supposed to change oil? change tranny filter? replace tranny? any driveshaft problems? as long as its on flat ground and in park (sounds obvious but some people are dumb) you can get under it. just make sure you go from the front and not the sides. if it falls off the jacks or parking brake faill then it wont run you over. but dont sit up under it. just lay down. no big deal. as for the dent drill a hole pop it out sand the area, put that shit that fills small holes up on cars, like putty but for sheet metal or plastic then repaint the area. if you care that much.
