kensington. depending on where you come from. the easiet way to fresh is 10 st across the bridge from down town. or crowchild tril to kensington road, follow that to the very end and your staring into the windows of fresh.

Fresh gives me discounts for being on a team, and they always have something new everytime i go there

fresh has every major brand, so i wouldn't be surprised if ski cellar had lower prices to compensate
hahhaha, everyones like, I like FRESH, they give me good prices discounts because Im on a team or whateves. Steve gives everyone discounts.... he's not specially treating you becuase you are "you". He treats everyone equally like a customer, a friend and supporter of the store.
I think I would pick FRESH over Ski Cellar, because hahhaa, omgzers, I get like the best ever discounts, ahhh just kidding, I like FRESH because of the skis they have. I wish FRESH had a better service shop though, if it was like Ski Cellar, then that would be dope.

ups and downs for both shops...ski cellar doesn't carry core freestyle companies like armada n shit...but fresh doesn't sell rossi or fischer...its a toss up on skis, just depends on what you like the most really, and price wise, you can usually get around the same price on stuff is you suck up a bit...but i agree with buddy above, i wish fresh had a better service shop, only thing they're really lacking...but i get my shit done at cop so who cares...i just like fresh more because you don't have a salesperson following you around biting your heels for a sale...plus fresh throws down the dopest movie premier/jam session ever known to calgary so they definately take the award haha

fresh has ski porn, show and prove and skimatic, if i were you id get skimatic because its amazing
ski cellar is better because fresh only has the hip "cool" stuff that all the "cool" sponsored people have. Ski cellar has longetivity and it is about the love of skiing as opposed to being super cool and the dopest looking skier out there. Fresh plays off the trends to make money ski cellar just sells good product that gets people out to the mountains.

To respond to your original question New.Era, I think you will find that Fresh and Ski Cellar's prices are very similar, though might be a small difference here and there. The difference between the the stores is selection and business style.
Its good to hear what you guys like and dislike about our store. It gives us something to work on. Everyone has a preferred store. Personally I like Safeway better than Superstore and Coop
To answer some of your questions . . .
1. We are the only store that sells Armada in Calgary. The next closest shop is Monod's in Banff.
2. We are now carrying the Scratch series from Rossignol this year.
3. We have a few ski movies in stock and will get more as soon as each movie is released.
4. I didn't open Fresh "for the money" but to make a living doing something I'd enjoy fot the long haul. The money in AB is in Oil not retail.
5. We carry what we think our customers are looking for and what we like.
6. We don't think freeride skiing is a trend.

i think ive bought more at fresh in the two weekends ive been there with ben than any other time...he's a horrible sales person but he still seems to sell me shit well, jk

they arn't as pushy at fresh compared to ski cellar. whenever i go to ski cellar they always try and tell me what i should buy. i say fuck that

honestly...in my opinion a shops a shop price wise cuz everyone usually has the same prices or damn close to it and most will match another shops price just to keep your business...the difference in product this year doesn't seem to be that huge between fresh and ski cellar apparently...main thing these days is just knowing the right people at the right places...helps a lot! personally i usually just buy my shit at the first place i see it because im too damn lazy to shop around...and as ironic as it may be that i to tend to shop at fresh a lot, im getting a job at ski cellar haha
