Is it just me or is Freeze not as cool as it used to be? What do you all think?

My oppinion of NS mags is as follows:

Humor by number of times I laughed out loud when reading:

freeze is equal to freeskier and they are both the best ski mags that I know of. Sure they all lack a bit of good girl pics but hey! it's not a playboy. just go to those mags you got hidden under your bed if you want more you ***********.

I remember when Powder was a great mag and I couldn't wait for the next issue. I still have a few issues lying around. Nowadays I'll just read 'em off the shelf in Borders. They're just not worth buying anymore. Besides, they never do real equipment reviews. Ski and Skiing's reviews are OK, but Ski Press gives great feedback and it's free. It's too bad no one does a real review on park gear though.

freeskier surpasses freeze fo sho! freeskier has the best editorial content out there and the most dedicated staff! i respect freeskier a fuckload more than skier or freeze for the basic principal that they don't have the backing of a multi-million dollar publishing giant!

i don't really like freeskier, freeze is definately my favorite, and the food store in plymouth sells sbc skier now, and that mag is pretty dope too

I read a new issue of freeze and it sucks compared to last years mag.

SBC is the best one by far, nothing compares, good pics and even better stories. Powder is still a great mag, and the only thing wrong with freeze is ask brad, and ski is for YUPPIES

any magazine covering skiing kicks ass. personally i like freeze way better than any others cus they just have a fun attitude towards everything and they're funny as hell. freeskier reminds me too much of ski with their editorial style and writing, and its always bugged me that they try to make skiers look like models on their covers instead of actually showing skiing. whatever tho, any magazine covering skiing is a good read to me.

 
i just got a subscripton to Skiing, some cute girl came by and i couldnt help but buy a subscription...haha. I haven't read many copies, is it a decent publication? I wanna get a subscription to Freeskier too..

SBC def. has the best content, but i think freeze is more into the events and the community, and freeskier has some awesome pictures, axis is a good mixture but is strictly comps and french-canadians.

Axis has more steeze than Chompy the goat (which, mind you, is a great deal of steeze). The reason for this abundance of steeze is due to its 4 times a year format.

You Guys should check out this swell magazine called 'Ski Canada', it has great arcticles about skiing and is great for skiers of all types. I like how it caters to the recreational skier and has information on what skis to get for my 3 years old. Its a really swell Magazine.

my favorite issue of any magazone ever was the first sbc skier issue. it was soo loaded and full of pics and articles that are close to home.
