Freeskiing world tour finals live now!

i dunno. it just seems like it would be too hard to judge a freeskiing comp. I feel like it should just be done recreationally
 
Yeah, nice eye. A few of us were up there today. Craig (moment rider) killed his run today. And the video was kinda crappy quality because the weather was shitty today. like thin clouds and fog for most of the comp. And Julian lopez fucking T d off on the biggest hit out there. shit was crazy.
 
for sure, the Chilean guys cliff was massive, backstoms run was sick though, next years smith for girls looks sick to, same with fatypus, what kind of skis did that French guy have? the ones with the skanky nurse
 
I think those might have been fortitude skis?? Im not sure. There were so many brands up there I had never seen. Surface crew was up here today and doing a demo. Their stuff looks good.
 
god damn that venue was amazing.

that was some amazing skiing for not being able to have an inspection run.

julien lopez' skis are zag skis i believe. the chilean dudes name is chopo diaz and he freaking rips! he won the first stop at la parva and qualified 1st for the finals. also in terms of the contest thing...have you been to one of those events? its an awesome, awesome couple of days for sure. and why not try to win some money while your at it? people complain so much about how skiers need to be paid more and then when there is a huge contest series that comes along and offers up good purses, you look down on it? seems a bit weird logic dont you think?
 
Its a lot easier to judge rail jams when everyone is hitting the same down bar, much less variables to take into consideration there. I agree.
