Freeskiing Boots

Anyone have any tips for good boots, my Salomon XWaves from last year have already packed out. I need new boots and have always ridden Salomon. Any tips?
 
1080s if you like Salomon, me any all my freind have technica diablos and we all like them

by the way this is 100!
 
freeride or freestyle? for freeride the teneighty gun boot sare good if you liek salomon, and the tenighty foils are prolly good for freestyle. you may wanna try the new kryptons too they are pretty sweet. I ride like 50-50 park/allmtn and i use the tecnica diablo flames, which are perfect for half and half.
 
Where do you live? I would TOTALLY head to Sierra Snowboard Ski and Patio and work with Taylor (skimasterflex) and Jim, they will make sure you are in the right boot for you.
 
1080 Foils are pretty damn soft and have a ton of room in the footbed if you have a wider foot. I did not like them when I tryed them on, too soft and roomy. The 1080 gun fit much much more snung and had a siff flex which was nice but the cuf seemed very high so if your under 6' they might be weird on you. Nordica speed machine 12 was nice, tecnica diablo mag. were very nice also but shorter cuff. Look into Lange boots, those rock as well and have specific womens freeride boots.

Oh and I live in Squaw so I have tons of resources as far as hook ups, I just want as much input as possible 'cuz boots are so important
 
Hmm.. if you feel like the 1080's are too much boot for you I'm not sure what else is out there. Those boots are very soft so you'll probably have to look at something for beginner/intermediate skiers because those are usually the softes boots around. Just hit up some shops and try as many boots on as you can. Good luck

how important are boots for freestyle if anyone can convinvce me that they are impotant enough to spend like 500 $ on like some of these prices then your helping me out
 
new liners may work or even replacing the soul with some from skate shoes helps a ton.

if not...id try rossi softs. ive got a pair and love them . its got like a rubber cuff so theres no shin bang. there soft, flexy, and wicked comfortable but still have enough support for all mt riding. if ur local shop has them id give em a try
