SBC skier is way better than freeskier and probably about equal with powder. That is speaking IMO about quality of articles. I find freeskier to be the worst one.

When Freeze was around it was the park rats magazine and Freeskier was the higer end mag with equal parts of big mtn, park, even a little bit from the bump scene. Now Freeskier has become the old Freeze and Powder has taken Freeskier's old spot.

But yeah, SBC Skier ftw!

I get both, but I actually read every article in powder. so if you have to choose one I say powder

I actually subscribe to both. I like Powder better. I also just signed up for the Journal also. looking forward to my first issue of that.

For roughly the cost of filling up a Toyota Tacoma ($40 USD), you could have 2 ski magazines come to your door for the next 2-3 years. What is there to think about?

freeskier has no substance, really just a big ad, there's usually one article that is somewhat readable.

powder is on a whole other level.
