the toronto ski club is looking for a new freeride instructor for their program. this program is already 4 years old and has a core group of kids.

I have had to give up my coaching spot so we need a new dedicated person for the job. it is weekends only, you get a free pass for blue and you will need to help with compititions.

how does it compare to the Freeride class that blue runs? there's a possibility that I might be doing the blue one? and I need full time work so does TSC run on weekdays at all?

Define Freeride? In the east it should be called Jibb cert or somthing not freeride. I'm not trying to dis the existing program but look at what freeride means. It consists of all existing aspects of skiing not just moguls, park and pipe. Big mountain has a hug role to play in Freeride. The west in were freeride is origiating it's everything ya know? Oh and SRO ROCKS!!!

 
hah yeah you're right it's basically as 'free' as we can get in the icy east, no rules type skiing. That's why they've changed the name to park and pipe certification.

you get a free blue mountain pass and you get to use the TSC lodge.

Freeride as in no rules skiing, in the trees, on closed trails in the park whatever you feel the class or individual kids are up to.

i got my pass clipped when i took two kids on some unopened stuff, but it was worth it kuz they were loving what powder is available. I realize that east coast is not to big, and that we don;t have back bowls or pow, you don;t need to point that out.

 
im the one who took over after he left.

take my word for it you do not want to be involved with the TSC right now,

i quit after just one year due to problems with the boss, aswell as the structure of everything.

i was hired as a freeride instructor and was constantly put on the tow rope when someone didnt show up.

DO NOT WORK THERE...
