Freeride bike?

I've never really been a fan of Iron Horse but if you're purely into freeride that bike'd be fine. Just don't expect to go uphill on it much. I used to have a Drop Off fork and I didn't like it at all.

If you're interested, I just to put my bike up on pinkbike for the same price.

sick bike for someone just starting out. the drop off is a pretty budget fork but for someone just learning its dece. that bike will be easy to upgrade as you progress. no offence to the other dude but if you're freeriding go for the ironhorse over the coiler

nice first post. no worries man, it's probably too small for him but my dad loves riding it and he's about the same size. just thought i'd throw it out there.

i deleted the ad above because i realized i put it in the wrong location since i moved recently. if anybody else happens to be interested: http://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/659752/

coilers are actually quite sick... i used to do a little freeride with my 06 model. i still have it and now use it as my all mt rig with some minor upgrades.

but ya, out of those two i'd go for the ironhorse + that pinkbike deal looks prettye decent. look into a mongoose khyber... super sick freeride bike for the money.

i love my coiler deelux and don't want to get rid of it but i need money. great all mtn bike that errs more towards freeride. it's the original 5 inch version though.

^ yeah i'm familiar with the 5'' model like yours but I went for the later 06 model for the extra inch since i was gonna do a bit of everything with it (xc, trail, fr, dh). sick bomb proof bikes for sure!

Buy it Now.

That is an incredible deal - $1000 dollars for that part spec alone would be worth it. Buy it, because between the fork, the shock, and the drivetrain, that's already worth well over the price. The frame is a freebie on this one, and you'll be able to replace that if you outgrow it.

I cannot stress how much I wish this had been for sale when I was getting a bike 2 years ago.
