hey has anyone gone here yet this season i am thinking about goin after school 2maro.

could any one tell me if its worth it
 
Dude... say why it sucked. it doesn't help to just say it sucked.. I know tons of kids who were superstoked and were tearing things up. What problems did you have?
 
sorry, I was a little sensitive because so many people were there and I watched park crewing trying in the afternoon, but kids (including my own) were hollering at them to hurry up, "don't salt" cause they were so hyped up to hit stuff - they just didn't want to wait. Then, nobody apparently waxes there stuff and yesterday with the wet snow made that much slower if you didn't wax.
 
^^ the snow was slow in general...a lot of times with slow snow. wax won't make a difference...humidity has a lot to do with that. not wax
 
unless it gets warmer for longer than forecasted and if it rains more than forecasted then yes, they will be open for next weekend. Pray for cold so they can open some more trails. It looks marginal.
 
I was there from just after 10am till about 3pm and left because park crew was out once and for all we could tell had no intentions of coming back out. Last Sunday they came out a little late, but once they were done things were great and stayed that way cuz they had used salt. Yesterday from what I could tell no attempt was made to open at 10am with a well manicured park. It was like alright we're gonna open but you guys can ride shit setups until we feel like getting up, and then when we do get up we're not gonna do it right.

I'm not really tryin' to be a hater cuz I'm more than stoked on riding in November, but I was a bit disappointed because I paid for a pass. I don't think I would have really said anything because I know what it is like to work on a park crew with tough conditions, but the fact that while I was there it didn't appear as though they were even trying just kinda jaded me. They spent more energy trash talking the kids telling them to do something than they actually spent on the features...
 
My brother and I went there today and in general it was ok. The snow was real slow and my invaders havn't been waxed yet so that added to it. Some of the take offs were sketchy but there were about 3 to 4 really decent ones. The jump on the other hand needs some work, the landing was pretty much flat rutted out ice. It is worth it tho if you really want to hit some rails to warm up.
 
jump? you mean the ditch thats probably used to direct snow-melt runoff? and i'd start getting used to waxing your invaders regularly, they don't have the world's fastest bases.
 
haha, i was trying to be nice. But yeah they should just get rid of that little thing haha. And i know about the invader thing, i normally wax them but i wasnt expecting to ski monday.

Fri-Sat: Snow Passes $20, Rentals $20

damn i would have took that bitch back and had them make me another. spend 4 dollars on one burger, you could be a dollarmillionaire or something i heard with that type of money hahaha

Birdies are whispering about jumps next weekend if it gets cold enough by the end of this week to blow again. it's gonna be close, no promises..... you gonna be there again? Thought so! :o)

 
so you can read body language or something into what one person is saying. i don't think anyone cares really about why you were upset so its whatev you know
