Free karma for bumping my FS thread!

Does that bother you as much as it does me? I feel like I should go through the thread and give everyone and the OG poster negative karma for abusing the system and being childish..

I clicked on this thread with the intent of telling off a noob who posted in the wrong forum, lowering said noob's karma, and losing faith in humanity.
So I think that answers your question.
 
I remember I used to be one of those kids who'd give "free bumps" for good sales. Whenever those threads pop back up due to a multi-year bump, I look back in shame hehe
 
i do it sometimes im not gonna lie but not everytime

if its a friend i bump or if the guy has good stuff ill bump but other than that i try not to, to much
 
Yeah, that shit pisses me off. Not the point of the system. One kid I always see using it is Dr. Slay. I've posted in his threads before for some reason. It's basically asking any kid with less than 100 posts to bump the thread, I'll post in them calling them out on prices or something but I could care less about the karma, hahaha.
 
i actually logged on so i could lower your karma. then i realized what was going on. you make a very good point. ive only been a member for a month or so and even i know thats messed up.
 
I've had a great time browsing and deleting threads on NS recently. Deleting mostly. Just to save me some time and aggravation, lets go over a few things you may have missed when you clicked "sign me up!" I've put them into two categories, for your convenience.

Perma-banned (I will not heed any plea's you may make, period)

This crap threatens the site as a whole. As in, your post and content could make NS receive a huge fine or shutdown. If you post something like this, you must really be a huge deserving cockmaster of the ban you are about to be endowed.

- Porn. No tits. No vagoo. If we find it in a cult, cults over, I'll ban the leaders and subordinates.

- Pedophilia. Legal in Angola, not on NS. Includes 'Jailbait' threads, you'll both go to hell and receive a ban.

- Sale of illegal substances. Weed. Booze. Drugs. Should go without saying, but honestly, you wanna know whats been ending up in our deleted threads?

Temporary Ban (I may heed plea's you may make, possibly)

The stuff in this category mainly falls under "Stupid". If you find yourself doing this, you may not be retarded, but God Damn It, you're trying.

- Karma threads. No, we do not give out "free karma for posting in my thread!" It defeats our system, which was put in place BY REQUEST OF USERS to try to improve the quality of the site. If I catch you doing it, I'll mercilessly mess with your karma and ANY of the posters in the thread are MY fair game as well. You've been warned.

- Repeat Threads. These threads are exactly like another thread thats been previously posted. These threads are exactly like another thread thats been previously posted. - Retarded threads. I know you all have raging hormones as teenagers. Bigger tidal surges of -ones and -ines run through your blood than seawater over the deck in an episode of "Deadliest Catch". But for christ's sake, keep them to your friends and not to your weird online acquaintances. 99% of us dont care. Before posting, just ask yourself "Am I posting something that will truly spark intelligent discussion and comments? Or am I just posting that video that I've finally gotten around to seeing? I mean, all of NS users must be introverted 'ski only' web surfers, right?"

- Swearing. N word is out. So are others that we deem are over the line, including racial ones. The line isnt clear, I know, but how about this - if you find yourself asking 'will this word cross the line?' then just dont use it.

Please. I know its summer. I know theres nothing else to do for most of us. But please, try to respect some basic rules to keep NS in business and the forums from going to utter crap.

I have recently decided that I'm not going to let internet traffic have a significant impact on my emotions.

I also just pretend karma doesn't exist.
 
Every time this gets bumped up in my threads I think it's another thread that I posted in and de-karma'd the OP. I get upset every time I see the title pop up, forgetting that it's just this thread...
