Any of you cats seen or heard about this? They had a telemark convetion here this weekend and some of those dudes were friggin' rippin' on those things. They did some shit I didn't think was possible.

 
Why wouldn't you think it's possible? It's the same as regular skis except the heel is free. It just takes a little more skill thats all, not impossible.

 
telemarking is rad, it's so fun once you get the hang of it. It takes a lot more finesse then skiing, you have to learn all over again.

i only jib on my tele. its the best. first its super lite, second. the binding is mounted on the core center, so the sik is balanced. third extra style points for everything landed switch.

whats cool when you pull a japan on tele, is that the ski actually kicks off. so it looks way bigger.

Not anymore. Karhu now makes a powder twin (the Jak) and a hardpack twin (the Ruckitt) and K2 has the Piste Pipe twin (basically a softer Enemy).

Rossignol makes a twin tip telemark ski. I saw some guys on twin tipped tele's but they didnt go off any jumps. I was pissed. It would been cool. I did a 180 on cross country skis once.

There is nothing motherly about mother nature. Except for her big mountainous breasts.
