Yo, Im organizing a trip up to the hilda creek hostel that burned down, the sauna is still up and running, and there's a kitchen too. We're gonna build some snow shelters, dig some sunpits, drink beer and hit some booters.

Easter weekend, between louise and jasper.

sounds sick, cept everybody should go and hit up the lake louise slopestyle/halfpipe comp. Its going to be dope with good prizes so if you think your the shit come out and show what you got.

if you have 64$ for a fuckin lift ticket. if you don't ski for free, it's not worth it, at least the lake (i was a liftee there last year)

dude the lake is defantly worth every penny of the lift ticket, there parks so dope. But skiing free is obiously sicker

 
louise sucks, if you want hit park all day you might as well hike all the way up the mountain to it. besides they get sh*t snow all year round and tourist and advertising is the only thing keeping it going.

Is that true that Louise gets shit snow all year. Anyone done a season there than can confirm/deny this?

Louise averages 400cm of snowfall a year. Sunshine averages almost 1000cm due to its location.

Louise can be a little bare but when you're riding park it doesn't matter, they have plenty of snow for that, PLENTY. I just did a season there... 03/04 as a liftee. It was a great season and they had plenty of snow, some GREAT powder days. Sunshine sucks so don't even mention Sunshine. There's some great runs and natural hits on Louise. Lots of secret ones that not many people know about.

The park proline was pretty cool, some bigger hits there. I was there for Superpark and fuck those suckers were HUGE! They also opened them up for the public... although they did shrink the 110 foot step down to 90 for the public.

Haha, that Brit just stacked it... and landed on that other Brit!
 
^what the hell are u talking about man. Sunshine is the sickest. they get awesome snow. sure there park isn't as good as louise but its still a park. i've been skiing at sunshine for like 7 years and its sweet there.
