Freak Accident

Alright, i wasnt skiing here. but i was in the same town.

But my sistr was skiing a few weekends ago. everything is going fine. she's having a great time blah blah blah. she goes up the tow rop. and as she reaches the top of the hill. she drops her pole. she goes and picks it up and she heard a snap in her knee and immediatley falls down and starts balling. she gets a sled ride down to the Ski-patrol.

she goes to the local hospital (this is when i was there) and nothing was broken. but they said she shud go take an MRI when she gets home

she goes home, takes an MRI. she waits a week. and it ends up that her MCL is torn. and a bone in her knee died? (thats what she told me)

Moral of the story, if u drop ur pole. be suprr careful when trying to pick it up

whats with freak accidents these days. did u hear about the famous celeb who died skiing a bunny hill in quebec?

o ya! i hrd about that. that was really weird. moral of the story on that one is to wear a helmet. (atleast for her)

not to start over again on this ft thing, but as long as full tilts dont go up all the way over your knee i dont think they could prevent knee damages

oh really i had a seizure/tramatic brain ingury after i under rotated a 1080 or i rotated a nine spread but than they cut off my ski pants and hoodie and now i cant do anything for 6 months

MCL isn't that bad, she should only really be out 3-6 months

and you might want to be careful about spreading pictures of your sister around .........................

edit:

I didn't mean to be a bitch, any injury sucks. I was just thinking that of all the knee injuries that could of happened, the MCL is really one of the easier ones to heal up...

maybe she should start working out, not for the sake of losing weight but just to get her joints moving, she should at least stretch before skiing if she's that injury prone

well thats her second injury in her whole life (shes 17) but now that i think about it. she does kinda sit around all day.
