for pow skis... what do you recommend in general when mounting bindings when this scale is on the side. I'm assuming that FS is Tru center? lets here your opinions and preferences even if you don't know shit of what your talking about. Difference between more freestyle BC and for strictly pow?

If I was riding true powder, or big mountain, I would mount it back. If i was riding freestyle BC I would mount at center or just 1 or 2 cm back so riding switch is more easy but still get that floating while riding forward.

I have my pow skis mounted 2 cm from true centre, works great for landing switch and jumping off stuff. Its the most versatile and with the amount of rocker on ski's now I don't really think you need you're skis mount any further back.

You should actually measure your skis to find the true center... Freeride/FS/Tradional markings on skis are bullshit.
Then for freeride pow I would go 2-3.5 cm back if you have a 181+ length ski.

ive def noticed that those markings arent dead on, im thinkin 2 cm back will make the most sense the ski is 188 with a lot more rocker in tip than in the tail

What type of ski are you getting? It depends a bit on the ski but if you just want something to shred around on and you are not charging huge lines where one tip dive would kill you then I would go with 2cm back. If you are not planning on landing switch then go a bit further back to help you on drops and lines.

this ski will be mainly for big carving and deep snow (ninthward cvp188) . so true center is the exact middle of the ski right, if i took a tape measure from tip tail and found the middle that is tru? then core is the narrowest part of the ski? +k
