FP Insoles or Other Skate Insoles

Has anyone ever used a skate insole or footbed for their boots? I used to ski Dalbellos and full tilts and felt that they dampened landings much better than my current boot (hawx ultras). I am transitioning to a roxa this season and my current footbed wont be sized properly for the new boots so I am thinking of trying a skate insole out, probably not the best from support or performance (BRO JUST GO TO A BOOT FITTER) but the shock absorption seems nice. Never used them for skating either though.

Nothing feels worse than a squishy insole in a ski boot. Dabellos heel gel thing was the worst thing I’ve ever felt in a boot. Get a pair of footbeds made for ski boots that give proper support and don’t feel like ass since you are obviously too cool for a bootfitter.

Thanks for the tip on the boot fitter thing, I will have to go check and see if my town has one!

Dalbello il moros are still offering a more active boot board for absorption similar to what has been offered in Full tilts and old spks, was just trying to supplement a little since the boots I have been in didn't cater to that, impact in the heel and ball of foot is significantly more noticeable even with a mid volume intuition liner and custom foot bed.
