Fox News outdoes itself.

Im not one to usually get behind the whole "one crappy cable network is less awful than the other" argument. But Fox News has really stepped up their level of hypocrisy on this one. Just watch.

The Daily Show With Jon StewartMon - Thurs 11p / 10c

Fox news claims the money going towards the ground zero mosque is coming from someone with ties to terrorist organizations

that "guy" is also the second largest shareholder of news corp (owner of fox news)

It must be depressing living in a country where all of the mainstream media is an absolute fucking joke.

Didn't watch, but if it's what I think it is, Fox and friends had a piece the other day in which they, "followed the money trail," so to speak, of the ground zero adjacent mosque. Now they seemingly intentionally omitted the name and face of source of the money in question, one Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal. Who also happens to be the second largest shareholder of Fox News(or Maybe it was they're parent company, I forget.) Anyhow, Jon Stewart had an absolute ball pointing this out, and I for one had a ball watching.

so in other words Fox News is funded by terrorists and the conspiracy theorists were indeed right that the mosque is linked to Al-Qaeda?

"It is depressing living in a country that is an absolute fucking joke."

Fixed.

But all in all, I LOLed. Still like the Colbert Report better than Daily Show, but both beat any legit source of news into the ground.

U srs dawg? Whenever there is a Fox News debate, MSNBC is always mentioned. Always.

In fact, see ohmybosh's post ^^ up there about all of mainstream media being a joke.

pretty much says it all about politics

You guys DO all realize that the only people worth listening to on Fox News are Bret Baer and Shepard Smith right?

It's all worth watching for comedic value.

Some of the extreme right wing or christian political blogs are much funnier though. They make fox look like NPR.
