Fourth of July

Hey everybody, I fukn love the Fourth of July. I figured we could all share about what we did to celebrate it. I understand not everybody here is from the U S of A, but every country has an independence day so just use that instead.

I started the day off by listening to Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue about 50 times and learned it on the guitar. Then barbecued and played volleyball and during the game spanked a great spike that nailed my buddy in the face. Then me and some pals lit off 700 mortar shots and 45 cakes to round off the night. Being right next to that many mortar tubes going off and active cakes was a serious thrill. At one point a mortar blew up about 20 feet off the ground. So fricken sick. Also I had the most perfect buzz going for the whole day.

Tons of great food, great friends, and great fireworks made for the best Fourth yet.

Been driving the west coast hwy 101 with the wife and kids, stopped in Cresent City Oregon and watched the fireworks there over the bay. Drove down through the Redwoods and now back up the coast to home. Been pretty chill.

Second year in a row I couldnt do a thing due to injury so i just smoked weed and watched movie marathons all night

Went to the city, watched fireworks w people, got plans very very messed up, ending up having a shitty night

woke up at 1pm went to work. got out at 11pm, went home and took a blunt cruise on my skateboard by my lonesome. kingpin fell off going down a hill and my whole truck came off, ate shit. spent 30 min looking for my truck in the bushes, walked home went to sleep.

Tried to ski snowbird, hiked a patch, did 2 360s, had a nice grass run down to the lot (was actually able to turn and slash without falling), drank a few beers, got tired, went home hoping for a decent night, watched fireworks from inside nice n sad, fell asleep, and for the 22nd year in a row I had a mediocre 4th of July....except the skiing part.
