We are stoked to announced this years Beartooth Summer Session! Going down June 5th-8th at Beartooth Basin, south of Red Lodge, MT. Come out for a weekend filled with skiing, camping, general debauchery, and whatever else you can think of in the Montana wilderness.

This years event is looking to go OFF. Beartooth Basin is reporting the most snow they have seen in 10 years and we will be out there putting in an expertly crafted park before hand just for YOU!

As in years past, we will be offering discounted lift tickets throughout the session ($40 for lift accessed skiing 9am-3pm) and of course the Booster Strap Big Mountain Slopestyle on Saturday, June 7th (entry included in the price of that days lift ticket) - ENTRIES WILL BE LIMITED, THE NUMBER IS TBD. We've got thousands of dollars of gear to win - everything from a pair of skis, to outerwear, softgoods, and more. We are planning on doing a raffle, and general swag toss so everyone has a chance to walk away with something.

For those of you 21+, Lagunitas Brewing will be putting on an after party in Red Lodge after the comp on that Saturday (location TBA).

Who wants to carpool/caravan?

I'll be in Seattle area right before this & would love to drive out with people instead of flying! :)

If they held this on a weekend other than right before my finals, I might actually go. Joke's on you guys though. I get to ski all summer.

This session is going be awesome! You're going to want to make sure you won't be missing this one. The most snow they have had in a decade, awesome camping, and if you're 21 - cheap Lagunitas beer!

Plus, with our 22 sponsors donating just over $12,000 in gear for prizes, raffles, and give-away's, there is a pretty damn good chance you'll walk away with something!

That is a long way to travel for some of the milder summit west action:

"By international standards, Afriski has a very modest one kilometer main ski run which is serviced by a T-bar lift as well as 3 beginner lifts servicing a large and dedicated beginners learning area as well as an extensive intermediate slope to help hone your skills. However, if you know what its like to have been bitten by the ski bug, you will relish this unique opportunity to ski the something as rare as African snow. The resort various beginner slopes are ideal to teach even the most skeptical African snow virgin how to ski or snowboard.

For the more adventurous and skilled riders amongst us, the resort has invested in a newly revamped Snowboard Park which is in keeping with the latest international trends. And for skiers keen to try their hand at ski racing, the Afriski Race Club hosts a series of alpine ski competitions as part of their Ski Grand Prix series."
