Found this going through youtube..

Once I told one that my friend got hurt in the tree and they kept on skiing. Dicks. Never gotten a ride from one.
 
hahaha wow. every year on patrol we have a sled race with 3 person teams. we get flying. but with a patient we never go fast enough to scare or hurt the patient (obviously). patient first. thats really bad that they let it get away from them.

don't they have some kind of rope that ties the patroller too the sled and at least 1 other guy behind it?

I was there, the guy in the slow motion scene with his hands up. The patrol gal on lead buckled in the powder and blew out her knee. The sled went over her with the second patrolman hanging on to the rope and he just got pulled until he got buried behind it. He got up and chased it down. Both the sled and the patrolman caught some serious air before the sled landed and rode up into some small trees and stopped. The injured guy was super lucky he didn't die in this incident."
