Why does it seem like none of the code to post pictures or links ever seem to work anymore? They used to be so simple < a href="..." > and such but now you do that and it doesnt even come up. You just get a blank post. And the pic insert thing is horrible. Please bring back how it used to be mods

I know. Ive figured it out after once or twice. But its just still retarded. There should either be 2 codes or just the original one. I dont see how
is any better..I dont know maybe its just me. But it just seems retarded. And like EVERY other forum on the planet does it the HTML way.

the reason they changed was to lower the amount of bathwith that the site uses dipshit, hence if they brought it back it would make everything slower

If they really wanted to lower the bandwith they should probably delete some stupid posts such as the "which pocket do you put your wallet in" and other such noteable stupid posts made in the past few days. That might help clear some stuff up

Actually... EVERY other message board that uses phpBB or some other generic forum uses tags like and [QUOTE] too, so don't complain.

The reason it was changed was because people who didn't know html were messing up the formatting of the entire page when they fucked up an < img > tag. I don't really think its that much harder to just type out a link and use the new IMG tags, especially when you're typing 10 characters less for each one.

that and by allowing html tags you open up the entire forum to a larger security risk.

Hotmail's html code parser to prevent known hacks is a massive block of regex's. You can't put a hack into a block as easily as < img...esp javascript hacks.

I find them easier but I did notice that alot of the time people try and post pictures but just a blank post comes up. There isn't a link to a picture or an X to say the picture sin't working, it's just blank. I found that really wierd
