I know the place is closed but there is some pretty sweet touring and jumpbuilding terrain there. But there is a gate at the bottom which could be a pain in the ass if it was locked, so just wondering if anyone has been up there and knows if the gate is locked.
if you wanted to get in, you could...but i'd watch out for avalanches..
i figure if you managed to hike up, you could find wicked terrain on the hill itself...and it'd be untracked and everything...that way you wouldn't have to worry about avalanches, but it would suck if you didn't ahve a sled. just camp up there, lol.
all BC is sketchy, thats why you dont go there without the proper shit/knowledge. Cuz Strawberry Shortcake shovels and GI JOe walkie-talkies aint gonna cut it.
the place is perfectly fine, just don't be stupid and go in dumb areas. you can get up there if you have a good vehicle. good luck with a car. and i don't think you can take sleds up, because it is in the park.
