Fort Lewis College?? Durango?

Anybody have feedback about Fort Lewis or Durango in general? Im thinking about going there next year
 
Durango is a sick town. Fort Lewis is a little small but from what I've heard its a lot of fun.
 
not at all. this town is small enough that you can walk everywhere. i hardly ever drive or get a ride to a party. its all about walking and biking
 
Go to western state. CB is so much sicker, nasty extremes and park. and college is sick. Small as well but sick community
 
Thanks guys. Im visiting at the end of March, so I can really check it out. How important is a car? Is it hard to get rides out to the mountain to ski?
 
No its not hard to get rides at all.. plus he weekends there is a bus that takes you wherever u want to go for five bucks...runs till about 3 in the morning...can be as shitfaced as u want and kelly(the bus drier) doesnt care. the school is fucking dope and the park at purgatory is getting better every year
 
a car isnt necessary. you really dont need one in town but a bike will make your life much better though. you will be fine getting rides to the mountain too so i wouldnt worry too much about that.
