Forgot skis on a rack today, how fucked am I?

Yes I know I’m retarded no I don’t want skiermans input. I took this girl on a date to teach her how to ski and when we were returning her rentals I set my skis on a rack outside, forgetting about them. Honestly I was more focused on spitting game and being funny. Totally slipped my mind until right now, the night of, when the place is already closed. Should I have hope or just call the season right now.
 
I'd be hopeful myself. I worked at the mountain a couple seasons ago and we had employee lockers for all our gear. Turns out I came back from a snow break and never put my skis back. My ON3P Magnus skis were sitting there for about three days until I realized. They were still there.
 
this is a great excuse to just never ski again. man i wish i could be an idiot like you so i wouldn't have to drive up the cottonwoods ever again
 
And why exactly are you posting this thread and not driving up to the mountain right now to hopefully get your skis?

Odds are kinda 50-50 no one took off with them. Depends on your ski center. In Quebec, theft was so bad that even my sister’s shitty standard pink skis were stolen. But, Ive had a buddy forget his armada bubbas overnight and the staff held on to them. Got them back first thing in the morning.

Never will forget the day when me and 4 homies were sat down on a side walk with 4 cops around us cause we jumped the fence to skate our villages pool cause it was dry. Shit was legit took down all our names and parents numbers called our parents out and town inspector and shit and took our parents billing address in case there was damage to the pool. Thank god there wasn’t damage to the pool not that there should be cause it’s fuckin concrete but if there was and my parents had to pay for it… I woulda probably ended up in the hospital
