Hi Ns,

This is the latest offering from Lbird and freewillie, the creators of last year's 50/50 straight air contest. We have revamped the competition, and this year will be accepting video submissions until April 1st. The rules are simple. There are only 2 tricks: 50/50 on a box and straight airs. Safety grabs and spread eagles are allowed (shifties/ tweaks are ok too). No other tricks or grabs are allowed. The goal is to create the most bangin' edit with tricks any jerry can perform. Submit entries as responses to this thread. Winners will be announced April 15. There is a guaranteed prize pot of $19.99, but we are working on getting some products (any companies shoot us a pm). There will be an irl sesh at Hood around the time of the late WCS (rip). We will have prizes to give out for the gnarliest 50/50s and straight airs performed on hill (and other tricks also).

We didn't actually get any submissions last year that didn't break the rules, so there was no official winner.

are the submissions up somewhere to be seen?
 
Half pipe/ quarter pipe allowd? What constitutes a straight air in a halpipe? What about redirects? Urban? Wall rides? At what angle is the difference between an angled box and a wall ride? If u go up a wall ride is doing a turn on the wall ok or do u need to go straight up and back down to sw? What about one footers on boxes? And having only one ski on the box one ski hanging off to the side to kinda lock in?

Pretty much the only thing that you could do of what you listed is go up to a quarter about 1/3 of the way up then slide down switch in reverse pizza. Other than that, no.

you sir are overthinking the fuck out of this. go out, have some fun, do some straight airs and 50/50's with some safeties and spread eagles thrown in a then put that shit in an edit. no need to do any more

yeah, Im either going to need a week long extension or I will have to put aside all other priorities so I can edit this thing in the next day. Im taking home that 19.99$$$!$!$

Haha cool yeah that 19.99 prize pot that my friend and I also remember and have been planning to give out since the contest was announced and are able to part with yeah

Honestly, the money isnt important. Its just a cool idea and kind of fun to make an edit with no spins or even normal rail slides!

So, this is probably the most fun I've had watching an edit all year, but I'm pretty sure that 135-to-faceplant is against the rules of this competition
