Ford > Chevy

This.

My last job required me to deal with a lot of different car dealership and drive all makes and models of cars. From what I've driven, ford sedans are absolute trash. The focus and fiesta shake like its nobody's business and are so un fucking comfortable to drive. The fusion is mediocre at best. The trucks are halfway decent, but from talking to Ford customers on a daily basis who are sending their trucks in for repair, i probably wouldn't touch the thing. Over 3 months I saw 3 complete recalls on Ford models. It was insane.

Chevy's aren't that half as bad. The impalas drive really fucking smooth, despite having some issues once you get past the 100K mark. I haven't had too much knowledge of Chevy trucks, only driven them a handful of times, so I can't really comment. Even though its completely based on the owner, i've noticed many Chevy body shops are absolutely terribly run. I'm talking really bad. But like I said, this is completely based on the owner and their management philosophy.

older fords>>>>>new chevys

i work at a body shop and pull a lot of domestic cars apart daily and Im friends with a ford master mechanic who works on chevys too. We both agree. I also get to drive all new rental cars via a deal with a rental car company(we repair their cars after they get fucked on a rental). New fords are sweet. New GM are garbage.

okay there you go. i kinda wondered about this. i don't know too much about the more luxury brands of american cars

Depends on what size truck you're looking for. In terms of Full size pickup, I would probably go with the F-150 imo. Although, I really do love the way Avalanche's drive and perform. You can customize them a bit more too.

meh. maybe considering its age.

both will give anything but the very top teir of supercars a run for their money. The ZR1 will beat a GT in terms of performance, but it certainly is more plasticy and probably a little less impressive than the GT was at launch.

I'll still give you this one, but if I had the choice I would take the ZR1.

The Corvette is faster but, they come a dime a dozen and aren't the greatest quality. I know of 3 Corvettes on my street alone... There is also a Porsche GT3, Audi R8, and like 3 WRX STI's. But I've never seen a Ford GT :( They are bootiful :(

Old Ford Broncos > Old Chevy Shit

And I'm also partial to Mustangs and Shelby's over Camaros. My dad had a fully restored 1967 GT500KR that we later sold at auction to get our current 1969 Mach 1 which is a drag racing car. It will do a 1/4 mile in 9.7 seconds.

As for me and my Bronco, I'm working on restoring it with my dad and it's almost finished! Planning on laying on the new pain this week.

Heres some pics of it just because I am crazy about Early Bronco's and I think they're the most beautiful 4x4 vehicle out there.

When I bought it

After replacing all of the rusty pans, and undercoating, and frame fixing, disc brake swaps, axle rebuilds etc etc. Here is how she sits now getting ready for color this week and then undercoating on the inside. Next week will be the beginning of the final assembly!

And finally, some badass broncos that have inspired me:

i work for a construction company and have driven countless fords and chevys..ford is way better..they hold up better and have less problems then chevys..if ur looking for a truck to use for work go ford

Anyone remember the top gear episode where they had Dually Trucks, A ford, a chevy, and a ram.

Chevy won by a landslide.

and Im just going to leave this here..

what about gas mileage? I know thats not a factor when you buy a supercar, but the Ford GT gets absolutely terrible mileage, even for a supercar. Like filling up every two days.

I saw a 2013 Ford Fusion yesterday, front end looks like an Aston. Fantastic looking car, too bad they don't make it in an SHO (yet).

There is that there are like 5? corvettes. The ZR1 looks similar to the others, but is a completely different beast. The only difference is that ford didn't make a cheaper version of the GT.

Less ZR1's have been produced than GT's I believe.

The build quality of the GT is better in terms of trim and body panels and all that. This is 100% fact. If you want that though you should be looking at an audi or something anyways. People buy these cars because they are fucking insane cars. Many car enthusiasts these days are saying that the ZR1 is the BEST car you can get dollar for dollar. I don't think anyone ever said that about the GT40, even though it could smoke a 360 and give the 430 a run for its money at the time.

this video sums my view up almost perfect

powerstoke>duramaxthey sell way more powerstrokes than duramax, cummins may have better horsepower numbers but the powerstrokes go forever

Except for the old 6.0L which was a horrible engine. At the time Ford was sourcing the engines from International. They sued each other over warranty issues. My friend ended up going through 3 of those engines in his 350.

Now that they're doing it in-house the 6.7 and it's precursor the 6.2 have been much better.

I am still a chevy guy though

As much as I wanna agree, I think i'll stick with my Chevy. I don't need a Factory Ordered Road Disaster aka Ford
