For those of you that work at or ride at Welch and surrounding areas...

Today, Saturday January 26, my parents and I were skiing at welch and my dad goes in for about 15 minutes and leaves his snowboard outside. He comes back out and its gone. Some fuckin cocksucker jacked his board in the short amount of time he went inside.

The board itself wasnt worth much, it was a 159 Entry-line (cheap) Atlantis board with blue base with yellow cursive writing of "Atlantis", but the bindings were pretty nice. Had some 07 Burton P1's, dropped like $400 on the bindings and the board was only $150. I know he'll probly never see it again, but i guess if anyone knows anything about this for finds anything out, I would appreciate sharing that info with me. I would love to stomp some thieving motherfuckers...

And I still love welch, but I didn't think there was much of a theft issue there, and I now realize I shouldnt give strangers that benefit of the doubt. So I guess the point is, LOCK YOUR SKIS/BOARDS UP or just keep them with you at all times.

my guess is that it was taken for the bindings, man never been there but thanks for bringin this to our attention i will help you bash some heads if you find out who

yeah some people are gay like that. i've had a snowboard stolen from right out in front of the office there and allex had a pair of skis stolen from there. its super dumb and it sucks. hope you find it.

i sure did have my skis stolen from welch...i was pretty much in the same situation as your dad...went in to get some advil and came out and i saw the tracks in the snow where my skis were dragged away...until they picked em up...i remember when your board was stolen portinga...

and lets just say i haven't learned my lesson...i still just set them out side on the hill hah...

i think welch should do a check like hyland thats way sick...and free!

for as many customers as i get in the bag check they may as well make it free and open to everyone. they would make about the same profit.

We have two one dollar checks on the weekends. $1.00 for ALL DAY!. That is basically free. If people don't want to pay the dollar then the responsiblity is on them...not Welch. Thats too bad about the board. I'll help kick their ass because they probably have the rental shop skrewdrivers too.

believe me i know...i've been there my whole life...welch is my home in the winter

i'm just saying, why make people pay to keep their skis/board safe? if hyland can organize it for free...other places should be able to as well...

^exactly. Welchguy was just sayin how its so cheap its practically free, so why not make it free. Only reason I don't check my stuff is because I don't want to dig out my wallet to dish out that stupid dollar. It can't be a major money maker for Welch either.

We need to charge something in order to pay someone to work there all day. Nothing's free in this world....unless I guess your a snowboard thief.

well when i work in bag check the money that comes in doesnt not even come close to what theyre paying so i guess they found a way to pay me.
